Overview & Responsibilities

As the Learning and Development Manager for Brand Management you will be responsible for leading design, development, and delivery of broad-based learning programs to enable Brand Management capabilities and skill development at General Mills.  You will have the unique opportunity to impact the Brand Management function through creating programs to develop the Brand Management function capabilities of: Build Brands, Grow Business, and Lead Teams. To develop these program, you will leverage your L&D knowledge, skills and expertise to train and develop employees against these key capabilities and skills that enable their success. 

The right candidate for this role will leverage strong project management, consulting and facilitation skills to optimize employee experience in training both on-demand, virtually, and in person. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conduct needs assessment with subject matter experts/ leaders to determine the training and development needs for Brand Management
  • Partner closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the organization on the design, develop, and delivery of broad-based learning programs aimed at advancing Brand Management capabilities and skills.
  • Develop systems/processes to measure and quantify the effectiveness and impact of the learning.
  • Facilitate foundational training programs and find opportunities to develop and test new ways of learning
Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years relevant Learning & Development experience
  • Minimal Travel (10%)
  • Project management experience
  • Learning Agility

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience with training and facilitating
  • Experience with learning technology (i.e. Skype, Zoom)
  • Experience with designing and developing learning materials
  • Cross-functional work experience
  • Ability to influence across levels
